JAKARTA – Chairperson of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Daeng Faqih asked the public not to worry, if they had to carry out independent isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though they are still at home, the doctors will be ready to serve the public for online health consultations. Daeng said, IDI and the government have prepared remote consulting services using health applications telemedicine . So that patients who are at home can still get medical supervision. “Friends are not left alone. They are still being watched, they are still being observed, so that friends who are isolated at home can still be in contact with health workers,” said Daeng at Graha BNPB, East Jakarta, Thursday, April 16. The Ministry of Health has collaborated with a number of platforms that provide telemedicine services.
